Vegan friendly | Stockholm has a few Vietnamese restaurants and when looking for great vegan Vietnamese food- Minh Mat always deliver!
If you like genuin Vietnamese food you're at the right place! The ingredients are nice and fresh & the dishes have distinct flavours of garlic, chili, lime and cilantro. If you are visiting Minh mat you should definitely order their BÁNH XÈO CHAY (vegan and gluten free). Its a Vietnamese type of crêpe made of tapioka- and rice flour filled with tofu, spring onion, carrots and mung bean sprouts. The crepe has a lovely crispiness and the vegetables are crunchy with a fresh taste from the cilantro, mint and thai basil. The CHẢ GIÒ MIẾN CHAY (vegan and gluten free) is a large bowl of glas noodles with crsip vegetables and fresh mango. Its garnished with deep-fried rice paper springrolls. Both dishes are served with a soya based dip sauces which have a sour taste from the soya but yet are very balanced.
Irregular. Usually nothing to complain about but sometimes the waitresses seem to be slightly stressed. You also have a very fixed and limited sitting until they ask you to leave.
Cozy, colorful, homely feeling with Vietnamese interior details.
